Prince is no longer with us, Prince will all way's be making waves and breaking records on the charts. So prince passed away last month, millions of his fans rushed to buy his music wherever they could hoping to be collectors of the true talent of this rock star, and by doing so, they collectively helped this musician live forever in the hearts and memory of all his fans.
Because of the immediate and unprecedented popularity that his back catalog enjoyed after his untimely death, Prince does hold the record for controlling the most spots on the Billboard 200 in a single week. Once a full charting frame had gone by after his passing, the legendary musician’s albums made history-making 19 positions on the all-encompassing albums ranking. The week dated May 14th, 2016 is now very special in that Prince was in charge of almost 10% of all available slots, something that had never been done prior to this month. Before Prince's time, the Beatles had the oppurtunity of being the musicians with the most albums simultaneously charting on the Billboard 200, thanks to one week back in 2014 when the Fab Four managed to place thirteen titles at the same time.
It is very interesting , while prince's music was selling better than it had in past years because of the shock of his unexpected death, Prince wasn’t at number one in the week when his music seemed to be everywhere on the albums chart. His compilation The Very Best Of Prince had ruled the week prior, but after a full seven days had gone by, he was bested by another superstar. Beyoncé’s new album Lemonade stormed in and took the top spot from the Prince himself after being released just a few days following his death.
This article gives a message! Prince had a heart and he will all way's live on in the hearts of his fans. He was working on an album right before he died.
