Swiss Style Now

Swiss Style Now

Swiss Style Now Aug 18, 2016 5:36 pm13 Email Pinterest Twitter Facebook The Swiss Style Now, an exhibition presenting an overview of Swiss graphic design from the last five years, will open on September 6 at the 41 Cooper Gallery. The exhibition will feature a wide range of approaches, techniques and media utilized by contemporary designers. The Swiss style of graphic design is perhaps the most influential movement of the 20th century, known for its minimal grid-based systems. It's a style and design philosophy that still influences today's Swiss designers, but their work might be deemed more diverse, emotional and fun. Work by a hundred currently working Swiss designers, including Ludovic Balland, Stephan Bundi, Büro Destruct, Melchior Imboden, NORM, Felix Pfäffli, Tania Prill, Ralph Schraivogel, Niklaus Troxler, Martin Woodtli, Jonas Vögeli and more, will be on view.
